A number of people have called to my attention the shortsightedness of basically excluding the D from my original poll.

So I'll give 'em one of their own.

Three nominees here:

* Jarvis Green.
* Adalius Thomas.
* Mike Vrabel.

Have at it.

I'll go with Mike Vrabel due to the fact that he currently leads the NFL with 2.5 sacks, and we all know it should have been 3.5 sacks

Vrabel. He deserves serious consideration for NFL Defensive Player of the Week.

Wilfork? Ellis Hobbs for that return?

BTW I voted for Vrabel.

I really liked Ty Warren. Pushing the OL back consistently.

Wilfork made the scheme work. He was dominant in a role that provides little flash.

Vrabel was awesome but I voted for Adalius simply because he showed incredible versatility against the run and against the pass. it seemed like he batted down at least two passes.

Ty Warren. One one play he drew a triple block as they tried to run to his side. He still tackled the RB for a loss of a yard. On another, he blew up an outside run by getting in the backfield, forcing a 4 yard loss. Alot of Jarvis's success has to do with Ty.

Adalius looked good but should've had a pick. He dropped one ball that hit him right in the hands.
