They are paid to cause a discussion on issues. Pats, Denver, (Pitt/Cinci being the only hotly contested spot) and Indy. If you pick those four teams to win how much talk is that going to generate. Now pick the Fins, Diego with Rivers,
Jacksonville and Balt you get much more feedback.

This next comment is not directed at you personally, but it's laughable that Pats fans always cry about no respect or lash out at an analyst just because the Patriots are not picked to win the division. Apparently, Patriot fans not only need to be picked, but need to be picked unanimously. If there were a huge chasm between the two teams I might understand this but the gap is small enough between these two teams that competent individuals can come to differing conclusions. No question New England is the reigning AFCE champ but we're coming into a new season. Seasons can be lost or won by a few fortunate bounces, injuries etc. Why is this so outrageous?

I love how you are basing the fact that the Doofins are going to win the division this year on your team ALMOST (if it wasn't for one fumble according to you) winning last year in Miami and then beat our third stringers (by the skin of their nutsacks too I might add) in the last game of the year to roar into second place with a 9 and 7 mark. Based on that, they are going to win 12 games this year? This is the same team that hasn't had a SNIFF at the Super Bowl since 1985, over TWENTY ONE years ago. The last time they DID have a sniff at it, they got their brains beat out AT HOME by the Patriots, and we have stood on your necks ever since.
