But all we hear is how the Patriots D had a soft schedule.

The Steelers have only faced 2 good QBs all season too, and lost to both (Brady, Dak), giving up 27 and 35 points, including 422 yards to the Cowboys.

Even when the Steelers drew the terrible Colts, they still caught a break because Tolzien started in place of Luck.

So we haven't played any great QBs yet. But the Steelers have had a pretty soft schedule too, and they haven't exactly impressed in their only 2 match-ups against good QBs.

Sure, they got lots of sacks against ****ty teams. They also almost lost to the Browns and Bengals and Ravens.

The Steelers defense is bad. New England has done what it's had to against lesser offenses. And done it well. Just gotta continue to play well against the best offense we will have faced to this point

Yeah, but we know the Steelers defense isnt elite.

The Patriots' might. If we can shutdown a Elite QB like we have been doing with the lesser ones

Just Roger affecting players on teams and creating a soft schedule to try and make the Patriots unprepared for the post season.

OR

There just aren't that many elite QBs and you have to play the teams on your schedule which is 14/16ths the same as the other teams in your division. Maybe the competition committee needs to create divisions (each year) based on the results the previous year and do away with static opponents (that's a joke in case you think I was serious).

Some of those QBs are average, at least. I don't think either defense has been tested much but the Steelers haven't had to face Landry Jones...

???

We played many of those. Moore, Flacco, Dalton, Taylor.

Yeah, that's what annoys me so much about this whole Pats D didn't play anyone narrative.

The Patriots gave up 24, mostly garbage points to Tannehill and our D sucks. The Steelers give up 30 in a loss to Tannehill and not a peep.

We hold Matt Moore to 14 points and big deal, it's Matt Moore. But the Steelers beat up on the Dolphins holding Matt Moore to 12 points, and suddenly I'm reading stories about how the Patriots should fear the Steelers the most. **** off.

We give up 23 to Baltimore thanks to some special teams mistakes and this D isn't good enough. The Steelers give up 21 and 27 points to the same Ravens and their D is coming on strong in the second half!

We hold the Browns to 13 and big deal, it's just the Browns. The Steelers hold them to 9 and it's a dominating defensive performance.

On and on and on and on...our defense gets zero credit, but the Steelers have played pretty much the same schedule and nobody questions them.
