Indianapolis at Denver - Indy is 6-0 Denver 5-1 - If Denver wins they will be in a 3 way tie for best AFC Record with indy and us included (assuming we win mon nite) - If Indy wins they remain undefeated going to Gillette and we are 1 game ahead of Denver (again,if we win vs minn) - I would like to see Indy beat Denver and then get their first whoopin right here at home -If Denver beats Indy its gonna be tough to expect Indy to throw 2 clunkers in a row on the road - they don't lose 2 times in a row much either just like us
If we don't win next week then we best hope Denver does win regardless of Indy being hungry once they come here-we don't want Indy 2 games ahead of us - In other words I see no reason why Denver is wished to win by us Pats fans..what is your take on this Colts/Broncos game?

It pains me to say this but I think I want Indy to win.

I feel dirty.

I look at this as a glass half-full game. Something has to give, and someone has to lose. I hate both of them so I hope they beat the crap out of each other. I take the same approach for the most part whenever any of the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets face one another.

Indy. It's not even close.

If Indy wins the Pats have their destiny entirely in their hands -- ahead in the standings of everybody but Indy, and with a chance to tie Indy and capture the first tiebreaker with a win two weeks from now.

Our position aside, anything that pushes Denver further down in the playoff seedings suits me just fine. In fact, I'd like to see them fall to 7th seed or lower, if you get my drift ...

I think Denver will win though.

Indy, of course. We need to see Denver incur another loss and then if we beat the COlts, we would hold the tiebreaker advantage.
Like I said,we obviously can't do any hoping because our game is a day later - If you think we will win you want Indy to win - If you think we might lose you would want Denver to win cause your chances of being #1 top seed get a slight bit harder - Hard game to gauge without knowing-gonna be tough to view that game because I think NE has about a 60/40 chance to win next week, its gonna be a good game on mon nite

Nah, I'm thinking it'll be Indy. They have the Broncos' number, for the most part. Here is how the triangle goes...

The Patriots own the Colts

The Colts own the Broncos

The Broncos own the Patriots

But this Denver defense is better than either of the ones that got shredded by the Colts in the playoffs. Plus, this Colts offense is not as good as the two that did the shredding.

The Colts weakness on defense is the running game, while that is Denver's strength on offense.

I really wouldn't be shocked either way but at this point I think Denver will win.

Maybe John Lynch and Co. has watched the Redskins mauling of that Gumby Body looking Bast#rd Manning who should have been broken in 2 if he wasn't double jointed-not once but twice on good hits-Looked as if Pey-a-ton was made of rubber or clay but the jerk got up for the next play-unfortunately-hope some good hits come sunday as well

True that. The Colts seem very vulnerable, they aren't playing as well on both sides of the ball as they did last year, and the Broncos are still a very good defensive team, playing at home rather than in the RCA Dome.

Denver winning would be good as it would potentially put everyone on top of the AFC on an even keel. Indianapolis winning would also be good as the Patriots would have the privileges of being the ones to ruin their spotless record, and more importantly, own the tiebreaker for first in the AFC. This is, of course, assuming the Pats beat the Vikes next week.

Bad form.

Even if you hate em; you can't wish for injuries - that is over the line.

I don't want him crippled or even out for a game, just to feel some heavy duty pressure and which makes him cause mistakes, maybe even the slightest discomfort-Manning lost for a period of time would make the media give them excuses for not winning it all this year- it should be known the way it has been before and thats because Manning sucks in the playoffs, not because he is on IR
