Next week it may be Moss with 1 catch for 10 yards, whereas Stallworth has the big 8 catch 100+ yards. That's the Pats O for you. It's all about matchups.

Agreed. Stallworth is an excellent talent. This was week 1, and there are only so many throws to go around. The Chargers are going to scheme for Moss, and that's when Stallworth will light it up. He can really fly.

The unanswered question is why did Gaffney get so many reps and Stallworth so few.

Gafney got alot of run when the game was in hand I thought. They probably didn't want DS to pull a hammy late in a 3 score game.

Stallworth may regret coming to the Pats for the very reasons mentioned in this thread, but all those feelings will go away if he gets a ring.

I forget who it was... maybe Simms who said that he thought that the Pats were setting people up by showcasing Moss this week so that everyone had film on him and then they'll come back with the others while everyone is gameplanning for Moss. It was an interesting take and possible.

The interesting thing is that the Pats played a fairly vanilla game while SD was fighting for their life. I expect some unexpected wrinkles in next week's Pats game plane.
