Great weekend for the bye week - fall weather coming around, baseball playoff races, college football season heating up, local bars in the Oktoberfest spirit - basically outdoor drinking while watching sports

I will be watching college football and some of the other nfl games, but mostly I will be gearing up for Soxtober!!!! Not to mention it is great weather to hit the outdoor bar (like richpats said) and my saturday will be tailgaiting and watching ECU come off a down week to crush Houston.

Well the debate's on Friday so I'm gonna do that and watch other games on Sunday. Saturday I gotta look after my dad.

I will be at the Illinois @ Penn State game. In college there tends to be mroe cheering then booing so it will be a bit of a refresher course.

I plan on reading more articles on how Favre will suddenly become 25 again and carry the Jets into the playoffs

Seriously I plan on watching a game sunday focusing on the 49ers play and how we are going to try and stop Gore and contain Willis from getting in the backfield too often
