What I am going to be watching closely and mostly is the play of richard Seymour. A healthy richard Seymour magnifies the play of our linebacks across the line. If he plays like a 2-gap NT on the right side I don't think that's going to cut it. If he's 85% to 90% of the old Richard Seymour I think that will be good enough to complement the other players we have.

My questions are:

1 - Which Richard Seymour will we see.
Just slightly better than we saw.

2 - Does he need to be dominant like the old Richard?
NO, but what we saw did not cut it either.

3 - Does he have a long or short leash?
IMO he has a 1/2-season leash.

4 - Can we expect to see more Jarvis Greene?
I think we should already be seeing this... Jarvis is a competant player who though not as imposing as Seymour is certainly adept at getting into the backfield which will help our DB's.

I forgot to add that I think a smaller Richard Seymour will help us and him out the most.

I really don't know have any idea of what you are trying to say but I think it is something to do with Seymour.

I thought Seymour really cranked it up in the playoffs and was part of a defense that played very well in the playoffs. Against the run the defense was very good, holding 3 of the best rushing teams in the NFL far below their seasonal YPG average. In the Superbowl Seymour faced a lot of double teams which gave Thomas more room to rush the QB.

Seymour, Warren and Wilfork, this will be a treat to watch.

I hope his knee's healed.

Agree with the last poster, have no idea what you're talking about.
