Without making any major moves or signing anyone at QB or on the OL or on defense and as the team is RIGHT NOW - How do you feel for the rest of the season for the Pats?

10-6/11-5 - playoff birth as a WC or division champ.

The coaching staff got caught off guard yesterday and the team underperformed. They are way too good to let that happen again. The only teams that I think will beat them from here on out are ones that are legitimately better than them and I don't think there are too many.

Cant tell u but mostly likely 10-6 record if there isnt a QB change.I still see playoffs with this team.

10-6 and playoffs, either as division champ or wildcard (I voted wildcard since it seemed to be the better choice).

Regards,
Chris

Without some upgrades in the offensive line, Cassel will probably be

injured shortly and the Pats will finish no better than 8-8.

9-7 or 10-6.

Having already dropped a division game and having some tough AFC match ups, I'm not sure those will be good enough for the post-season.

My gut says they will win the division but it won't be pretty !

I'm still thinking 11-5 or 10-6. I went with the wild card choice because I'm thinking they'll at least get a wild card, but a divisional championship could be possible.

It's still early days and we're too good to fall apart. I'm still very confident we'll make the playoffs.

9-7 is my take, but truth be told I haven't a clue. And I am NOT in the get a vet QB camp.

Save this poll and deservedly ridicule me when we're in the playoffs!

i say 9-7 & if they finish 10-6 that would be pretty sick..if we make the playoffs ill be happy cuz u never know what can happen

If this team plays better that it's showing from yesterday I think that it can make it the Super Bowl and WIN!

Since the poll uses the word "sure" I would say wildcard - though I still believe there is a very good chance to win the division. Given what has happened in the AFC in the first three weeks, it's as if it is actually more difficult to predict what will happen this season now than it was before any games had been played. I can still see 10-6/11-5 but I'm not sure that will be enough to keep Buffalo from taking the division.

I chose "I do not know..." because I never really get a feel for how the season's going to play out until late October anyway. I will say this though - they've got to be better than what they just showed!

I know this team is capable of a Super Bowl run on paper and we do have the best head coach in the NFL.

I still voted that I dont know if we can make the playoffs because you truly can't predict anything these days with an unproven QB. Cassel will need to develop a downfield game. McDaniels is not Weis, I highly doubt we can dink and dunk our way to the Super Bowl again.

All in all, if we fix the OL issues and our DL performs at or near their peak we will make a run. Everything is won or lost in the trenches.

I think the Bills win the division, we could make it as a WC team.

My gut feeling says the preseason is running long this year, give it a few more weeks and we will see.

Anything from 9-7 to 11-5. I don't think anyone in the division will win more than 11 (and I can only see Buffalo doing that). Unfortunately the AFC wildcard is so competitive that I think 10-6 is the minimum required. I would not be surprised if the AFC champion has the worst record in the AFC this year.
