What is Boutte’s trade value?

Bouttes trade value is probably a 4th rounder. Id hate to lose him for that. Imagine hes part of the aj brown trade.

I was surprised what miami got for waddle. Most years wrs get traded for way less. The dj Moore trade was high too but the bills are desperate and Chicago has done a good job with wr drafting

What's everyone's expectations of Williams this year? He didn't play much last year and I've seen commenters here say he struggled with the playbook but I don't know if that's just rehashed arguements about Mcdaniels offense being too complex.

I think reports of Williams struggling with the playbook were reporters opining based on a missed connection or two with Drake when he actually played in games.

As far as I know we never heard the Patriot’s brass ever say that. Wolf said something this offseason about him needing to refine the top of his routes or something, but both he and Vrabel expressed enthusiasm about his potential and how he needed to work hard to make the year two leap.

Most of his issues I suspect came from being pinned to the back of the depth chart. His reps early on came with the second team at practice. He needs reps with Drake and to bust his butt this offseason. He seems like a mature kid, he took the long path through college and earned everything he got. I am optimistic.

Make the year two WR jump; KW have the most ability of any WR on the Pats Roster not named A.J. Bown.

Bouttte’s trade value is in between what we got for Ja’Lyn Polk and Tyquan Thornton. Polk traded for “undisclosed terms” and Thornton was waived and picked up by the Chiefs. In other words, Boutte and a 7th round pick for a 6th rounder….. Bet on it……

What’s the nfl equivalent of a Tootsie Roll?

Oh, do please keep devaluing a young, developing WR who has shown constant improvement. Fantastic idea, keep it up. This is how you end up with a pissed off franchise QB. Keep getting rid of people he has chemistry with. That never f***s development up.

Boutte could be a difficult dilemma for us. I thought so after we signed R Dobbs who's here for at least two years if things workout or not. Boutte was on a Tear last year before his head injury...if he's improves off his Fast start last year; he could be Big Time.
He had a hammy injury twin that and then I believe a concussion afterwards... he would have had 900-1000 yards if he hadn't gotten hurt..

A.J. - Doubs - Boutte and KW is a sick WR combination that could withstand a major injury. The WR Haters will see the value of true #1 who open things up. Diggs was basically a shell of his former self.

I want to keep Boutte now he has too.mucy chemistry with Maye: this Trade talk is BS.
Me too.. I believe the talk is coming from his camp.. Boutte wants a new contract.. he will get it of he remain here.. here me out.. with AJ, Doubs, and the smash mouth running game Boutte will be able to have favorable match ups each week.. plus he is playing with a top 5 QB.. if he goes somewhere without a QB Boutte will be out the league in 2 years..

Reports are that with Boutte it’s that he wants to be traded because his targets will drop in a contract year. Which…they will.

He's sure made some nice catches last season, but he's erratic. With that said, Pats can't afford to trade him at this time.

traditional counting stats are misleading
also, age and trajectory play a large factor

Boutte had a 70% catch rate. he had 27 1st down catches and 6 TD's. played in 14 games. soon to be 24 years old.
he is under a rookie deal and still has a few years of team control.
I love Hollins, but I am keeping Boutte even with Doubs, and even if Brown is coming in.
I make a strong effort to resign Boutte and he and Doubs are the next 2-3 years, maybe Williams too.
We played a historically weak schedule in 2025. It would be good to see how Boutte does against this year's schedule before signing him.

Have to see how Williams is in Y2 as well. If Williams flops or soars, it affects the decision to keep or trade/release Boutte at years end.

Also Doubs have had some concussions; injuries are part of the game.
