Will he be OK for next week, or will Welker be scoring more 1s and 3s?

Good question, I checked a few websites and all they say is questionable and some thigh injury, no real details.

We'll know if they bring in kickers tomorrow.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Thank God Welker has experience as a kicker.

[Interesting factoid: Welker's career long (back in HS) is actually one yard longer than Gostkowski's.]

They are in trouble, if Gost cannot go next week. You really believe Welker is going to kick a 40yd field goal?

But, then, again, Gost is the least of the Patriots problems, from what we saw in todays game.

He hasn't done it recently, but I don't think it's out of the question.

...and you really believe the Patriots wouldn't sign a free agent K if they knew Gost couldn't go?

Maybe a better question is what happened to Gronkowski :bricks:
Hopefully Gost isn't too hurt. Can't have Welker kicking field goals next week. I wonder if Shayne Grahram is still avaiable. Or god forbid....they have to get Kris Brown(if Kaeding is back now).

Let's hope it's a moot point—but who do you release/IR to make room for the extra kicker, especially if it's only a short-term injury?

Or maybe they just do what they did when somebody brained Ken Walter(?) a few years ago—just go for it on every fourth down. . . .
