If I remember correctly, BB once said that usually college players who play DE in college, would play OLB in our system. Furthermore, college players who play OLB in college, would play ILB.
IMHO, the great problem at ILB for us, is that if you have a prospect who is underweight and can't shed the guards, he is a liability against the run (see Beisel). If you draft a prospect who is bigger, that might mean less speed which would mean that pass-coverage is a liability.
Are there any other important facets in a LB's play that are important for us?
