They give you a big and loaded pizza
I personally don’t like doughy pizza and it gets watery because they load the toppings on
The barn atmosphere is pretty cool.
The Farmers Daughter pizza is literally ridiculous
I love the pepperoni there

Never got it there, usually grab White's on the way up, and Brothers when up there.
Everyone told me that PB was awful, so never stopped.
Whites makes a good Pizza (Greek style)
You have to try their Big Mac calzone
All the ingredients of a Big Mac

Outside of Maye…
1) Watch this defense wreck dudes
2) Diggs be a #1
3) Will Campbell shut all the M***erF***ing arm length experts the f*** up

The key both short term and longterm at this point is whether Maye can take the next step and be who we drafted him to be. He gets a mulligan for last year. This year it I'm excited to see if with real leadership and some investments in talent, if Maye can be the guy. Because a lot of the direction of the team going forward depends on that.

I hear ya man. I love not working now.
I'm busy all the time but I'm busy doing what I want to do not what I had to do.
I'm 72 and I work out hard every day because if you ain't moving youre dying.
Health is everything and no stupid job stands in my way.
I might even work now and then but it's because I want to not that I'm obligated to.
I'll never understand those who don't know what to do with themselves when they retire. So they rot and die. That's stupid.
God bless you man.. 72 years young.

How much better Mac Jones will be this year than Maye.

Agreed, and I actually think maye had a good year last season he was ahead in the plus minus TD/INTS and had a bunch of production running too.

All things considered from last season maye fared pretty well for a 21 year old.

Under Josh he doesn't have to try to win it on his own. Ball control and efficiency is where he Will be better at. He's a dual threat to a defense on every snap.

He helps an OL and he puts uncertainty in the minds of LBs and safeties. He can throw guys open, break the pocket and get the first down or hit guys running free down field.

I can't wait to see what the offense looks like, McDaniels has had a year off to learn and scheme up new stuff. Given a young true duel threat option I think we are going to see an interesting blend of the Brady offense plus the RPO Newton offense with some other flavors mixed in. It's all dependent on the offensive line being at least competent, but I think they will be which is a massive improvement from the horror show that was last year. I liked the McDaniels hire almost more then the Vrable hire, he's always been one of the best at in game adjustments and having a good feel for how a game is going and what to attack next, setting up his call the next series or two with what he calls now. My only complaint with him as an OC is sometimes he does get too cute and give up on the running game too early. So hopefully less of that but I am very curious to see what kind of game he will be calling in the fall.

It’s impossible to have a bigger upgrade at Head Coach than the Patriots have this year compared to last year. I’m most excited about actually having an NFL Head Coach moving forward. The entire organization will benefit having Vrabel instead of Mayo, who was not even remotely qualified for the job. I love what the future now looks like for the Patriots. Within 3 years, I think Drake Maye will largely be considered the best QB in the NFL.

lets hope you are right Wazzu!
I too think Maye will be a top 10 QB in the league, but agree the sky is the limit.
the key to him continuing to improve imo is for McD to stay on board for the next 5 years.

AI-generated. We can't even get real sports writing these days. Here's my AI picking this apart:

This absolutely smells like AI—or at best, a heavily templated human sportswriter phoning it in.

Here’s why:

Overuse of clichés and stock phrasing:
  • “didn’t exactly have a banner campaign”
  • “sending a very clear message”
  • “nonsense will not be tolerated”
  • “stamped his imprint”
  • “translating into on-field results”
These are the linguistic equivalent of white bread. Filler. And AI loves white bread.
  1. Weirdly neutral tone with fake momentum:

  2. Every paragraph tries to sound like it’s building toward a crescendo — but never really says anything specific or novel. AI often mimics that faux journalistic “arc” but without meaningful peaks.

  3. Mushy logic and causality:
    • “Players have fired veiled shots... and embraced Vrabel…”
→ Based on what? No quotes, no sourcing, no examples.
    • “The fact that they are even being considered as a potential postseason team is concrete evidence…”
      → That’s not concrete evidence. That’s vibes.

Each paragraph is exactly 2–5 sentences long, often starting with a transition word (“Now,” “Obviously,” “In 2024,” “Whether or not…”). AI tends to follow rigid paragraph pacing and transitional scaffolding to sound coherent.
  • Almost every assertion is hedged:
    • “You get the feeling...”
    • “It’s hard to pin all of that on…”
    • “Whether or not... is anyone’s guess…”
That’s a hallmark of models trying to avoid being wrong.

Verdict

Most likely AI-generated or AI-assisted, possibly edited by a human for readability. If a human wrote it, they either used AI as a base or were unconsciously mirroring AI tropes. Either way, this wasn’t banged out by a reporter with inside access and a point of view — it was stitched together by algorithms or someone wearing algorithm pants.

Fred, as usual good stuff. AI is the new norm now. Pretty much everything we will start to read will be AI generated. As you mentioned even reporters are using it to their benefits.

It's several huge factors converging:
- going from the worst coaching staff in the league to one of the best, and by extension a better functioning front office too
- a young star QB about to enter his prime, together with a much-improved OL, multiple new offensive weapons, and a top OC
- a new attacking defense with studs at every level

Gillette is gonna rock this fall.

I agree. Keeping McDaniels in place and having stability from the coaching standpoint would be very beneficial for Maye. I think McDaniels will be around for a while.

If you wanted to use a similar comparison. Look at the guys on defense when BB took over along with a seasoned drew.. it' gives me vibes of that time. Vrabel was the same age as bb was.

Boring I know, but for me it's Maye's development. I have always thought he was going to be special.
Not boring at all. Also getting wins early on.. we need to get this " September is an extension of the pre-season mentality done with. Get wins early, so we have some cushioning for down the stretch.. this team is going to be a tough out each week.
