I think he is trying to be the next eric mangini. All coaches dont show up for the senoir bowl. I wonder why the jets employ tanennbaum, its obviously mangini's job solely to consult w/ free agents

C'mon, you don't think it important for the head coach to actually be there if they want to bring a free agent in on the first weekend of free agency?? :bricks:

Who said he wasnt there for the beginning of FA? I believe he accepted the award on wednesday last week. FA started on thursday. How many teams have FA visit day one? He easily could have made it back for free agency. Plus if he need to talk to Tanny, he could use this invention they called the cell phone
