Wes Welker's pace

Welker moves the chains. That's why he keeps getting the ball. Not to mention that he's so quick, he gets open all the time. WW is the little guy that could. An incredible bargain for the 2nd and 7th that we gave up for him. The only bigger bargain was Moss for a 4th. =)

At first, I said Wes Welker was a product of your system and that he's just an average player.

Somewhere along the line, he proved me wrong but I still wouldn't admit it.

Now, I have to say, despite his physical limitations, his inability to really run the perimeter and his inability to stretch the field, Wes Welker is a damn good football player. I hate him, will never root for him, but his game is pretty special and he is a mismatch for a lot of teams.

I hope Nate Jones brings his A game in two weeks. Randy Moss hits the big ones, but Wes Welker keeps our defense on the field and allows Moss to get those big opportunities.
