I think we're going to need some nastiness this year. We've shown it and I like it. To me, it shows mental toughness, fire and desire.

We seem to have picked it up the last few games. I want to see a smack down of the Jets next week to prove we can win it all

The thing I always liked about this team and during the BB era is that the team will not back down from anyone. I think it starts on top among the players with Brady and then Rodney. Then Seymour and even Colvin.

Much like Bryan Cox gave that edge on 2001, Rodney injected that when he came as I think they were missing that. Seymour has learned it from Rodney IMO.

Smacking down a joke team that won with a pathetic schedule will not show that we can win anything. Still it was nice to see the fire yesterday in a supposedly meaningless game. They have awoken the beast. Woe be unto them.

I don't think they're a joke team. They had won 6 in a row against some good teams: Indy, Jax, Buffalo has been playing teams tough.

The fact is the Pats have won 3 in a row against a couple tough physical teams(Jax and Tenn) that run the ball very well. They're peaking and ready to go, plus they've done this without Wilfork and Watson and Faulk yesterday. Anytime you get a victory in the NFL it's hard earned. There are no roll overs, we saw that with Detoit.
