Bourbon, That wonderful, magical, elixer of life! Bringer of joy and happiness, mirth & mischief. Proof positive that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Known by many names: John Barleycorn, Old Tanglefoot, Pop=Skull, and other appellations too numerous to mention.

While best used in moderation, it certainly helped to erase most of the hurt from a certain game that shall never again be mentioned by name.

Besides, it's week three. As much as I hated this loss, being a division game, it's almost as interesting watching the clothes-tearing, hair-pulling, wailing, crying and gnashing of teeth from those who haven't been through this before, or who simply live and die each week rather than brace and steady themselves for an entire season.

It could always be worse!
