I wouldn't be so sure that it wouldn't be. Reiess ans schefter are already reporting that a QB change is likely to take place this week for Sundays game.
Oh. I wasn't thinking of the poisonings. Let me state categorically that I am opposed to poisoning. The only time I poisoned any being was when rats got into my hen house and started killing chickens (Yes, it happens.). I hit 'em with anti-coagulant and all was well, though despite my best efforts, I inadvertantly bagged an innocent squirrel, which I regret. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

I've heard every possibility from posters on oh he'll get hurt, oh he's not ready yet . I looked around the league.. CJ gets hit alot, Williams gets hit, nix gets hit those teams don't have elite OL'S. What they all have is QBs that give them the best chance to win. Jacoby is a back up.. he can start for a few games but nothing more that that. I have no problem with him being the back up. We need to see Drake playing for many reasons.. say he's started Sunday.. and we got to see to see the offense moving, quick releases, quick decio making, if it's not there live to play another down. Jacoby Brissett looks the rookie to me.
It irks me to say so, but this is probably wise.
If what shecefter and reiss are reporting than Sunday we are likely to see Drake. One thing I'll got back to is when Mayo announced Brissett as starting QB he did say " what's good for the team now, may not be what is good for the team weeks from now"
We knew maye would start , but don't make his first game that much difficult. He should have started yesterday's game or at least come up in relief in second half.
Brissett doesn't help the OL.. he's better off working for Ford motors as a crash dummy.
Maye has been ramped up for the last several weeks breer and Curran reported.
I truly dont get why JB started against MIA, I forgave a lot with the new FO due to the crappy hand dealt. Still, it is extremely organizationally stupid to sit Maye against MIA but start him against a dominant team like HOU. Just pure stupidity
Yes it is. I see very little evidence of overall strategic thinking in anything the team has done this year. Certainly Wolf has no notion of such thinking at all. His "efforts" at providing the team at least a minimally functional o-line were pathetic. I'd fire the little nepo punk. The other guys in question - VanPelt, Mayo, Covington - deserve an extended look, but Wolfe is just a waste of resources.
Gotta start somewhere maybe Mayo saw enough from his warrior Brissett yesterday. Better a week early than a week too late.
