I’m a Chism fan, but he hasn’t even played a regular season snap. You can’t count preseason snaps against vanilla defenses and 2nd and 3rd stringers and say he can do the job correctly more often.

“Chism is going to pass him at some point this year simply because he can perform his role in the offense correctly more often.”

We have no idea what Chism will do in real games against real defenses.

Looks PF2, you and I have been 2 of the biggest Chism supporters going back to camp and argued for him in several posts. That said, Ross saying Chism can perform his role correctly more often is incredibly premature.

My argument has nothing to do with Pop, he needs to be better.

My argument is making a grand proclamation about how often Chism will perform correctly before he has even played a regular season snap.

I think he’s ready to break out, he still looks as smooth as ever. If we can spread it around and run the ball effectively, I don’t care if any of WR have eye popping numbers. Just keep the chains moving and score points.

The game plan limited how much Douglas contributed so far....and he's short...and he's only a slot WR. So far Diggs and Hollins have been better options in the slot..disguising what route they will run. Chism will also probably play WR X on occasion because he's bigger and more versatile. JMO.

Agree: I really want us to Iron things out on Offense. IF this Offense starts clicking that game @ Buffalo is going to be something. The Bills don't have a SB Defense shootout central.

Efton Chism X WR with his poor straight line speed?? I don't know.

Really hope they're doing the same for Kyle Williams: he has the Potential to be an Elite X-WR. Kyle Williams was an accomplished Route Runner in College: with excellent release packages.

I think we see why the Pats usually give their rookie running backs a season to learn. I sure hope they figure out how to keep him on the field. He has speed. Something this team has lacked for a while now.
