This sport sucks

So we got

Amendola - looks to have re-aggravated his knee injury. Went into lockerroom and did not return
Hightower - looks to have re-aggravated his knee injury. Came back out of the lockeroom and remained on the sidelines.
Chung - hip injury. Tried to stay on sideline but went into the lockerrom, not to return.
Lafell - came off gingerly after catching a long pass. Remained on the sidelines kind of bending his foot
Gronk - came off gingerly after two endzone plays. Trying to walk it off on the sideline
Hicks - no idea but apparently was out for a time

God help us

Right near the end of the season. That's not good.

Gronk is fine. Hightower is probably fine (but should sit next week if he is at risk). Hicks seemed okay too.

Lafell's injury could be concerning.

Bill is doing a bad job managing those injuries, no need for Hightower to be on the field today against this garbage Titans. Amendola returning kicks is also bad risk management.

I have to believe that the DIKEMBE chant and spell worked and everyone will be all right.

whatever you say genius.
Am I wrong? Gronk was back in the game after his wincing. Hightower was hanging out chatting with his teammates on the sidelines. Doesn't take much to come to that conclusion.

Repeat after me: Football is a contact sport.

I don't know whether it's by design , but these inopportune whistles that are negating big plays means we have to give the starters more snaps for "grind it out" wins. The longer they're out there, the higher the injury risk.

On a side note we won and are quite possibly one win away from securing HFA. But the big news is football players were injured today playing football.

I didn't see one injury that looked like it should end anyone's season. If that is the case -- one never knows -- the story here is the #1 seed.

Interesting that people are concerned about injuries to LaFell and Chung, let alone Amendola.

The Martin "block" on the White gamebreaker was THE WORST CALL OF THE YEAR
