Your numbers are slightly askew Bubba.

9 games - 1 start all season, 23 combined tackles, 12 solo, 11 assists, 1 tackle for loss, 9 QB hits.

Abdul Carter is the reason why Kayvon Thibideoux didn't get traded at the deadline.
Bust.

We are talking about a guy who asked for LTs jersey before he even played an NFL snap, falling asleep in meetings...ect.. shows what a losing culture creates..

Giants have some talented player's on thier roster..they lack coaching.. Daboll is a great offensive coach..but from what I've heard on his coaching style is he too tried to be Belichick like..

What a cop out.

High round draft picks sometimes need to be humbled.. these come in Highly touted, young and nieve to NFL life..
Everyone kisses thier asses in college and sees they expect the same in the pros.. nope.. put the work in and earn your keep..

0.5 sacks is pathetic.. for how Highly he was touted as a NFL ready day 1 starter..

When LT said no, he asked for Phil Simms' number after that.

Agreed 100%.. that's why I said the losing culture breeds this behavior...
There are always bad teams and good, young players usually get drafted to bad teams. But this is a business, the player's behavior always has consequences. His considerations don't include teammates, owner, his own employees.

100% accurate. Your expected to be a professional, all players have talent in the NFL.. the reason I mentioned about a losing culture as it tends to allow a certain mentality in some players not all.. we saw some of this here in NE the past few seasons..

What a joke.. 0.5 sacks is pathetic for this level of a player.. it's definitely a commitment, mentality issue with Carter for sure..

Carter is immature.

Keon Coleman is as well.

McDermott had nothing to play for and we'd all want BB to pull players as he's done in the past when the Pats were looking towards the playoffs. The person you should be really mad at is Mayo for not countering what McDermott was doing. The Pats were playing way too aggressive on defense blitzing and allowing Milton to run around, throwing bombs and playing hero ball on offense. If I were one of the Kraft's, I would've told Mayo to cut that **** out after halftime. Or better yet, I would've humiliated him and fired him at halftime because I'm pretty sure Mayo was already told this was his last game anyways. Mayo knew very well what was on the line.

It worked out in the end because having Hunter and Carter also available with the #1 pick could've made Vrabel fall into the trap second guessing himself. Those guys off the board made picking Campbell very easy.

See I don’t know. I think someone would have have traded up to get Cam Ward if the Pats were in the #1 spot. Or maybe the Jags trade up to #1 to take Hunter. I seriously doubt the Pats would have stayed at #1 and taken Carter or Hunter. They had too many holes and the draft capital to trade would have been too great.

And I don’t know if Vrabel and Wolf bought into the Hunter hype. Thinking he could play both ways without diminishing his production on both sides of the ball was a pipe dream. And I don’t know if people who didn’t buy into the hype thought he was good enough on either side of the ball to be drafted that high to play near exclusively on side of the ball.

As for Carter, he might have been a different player under Vrabel than under Daboll. Right now, Vrabel is inspiring his players to run through walls for him. I don’t think Daboll was ever that type of head coach. Carter might be a DROY candidate if he came to the Pats.

All that said, Campbell was the right choice. If the Pats did have the #1 pick though, they might still have Campbell along with a couple of extra first round picks from another team.

Good points triumph.. Coleman is likely on his way out off Buffalo along with McDermott..

I think if McDermott is fired, Coleman gets one more chance with the new coach to turn it around. He was the first pick in the second round just two years ago. He has tons of talent, just seems it is wasted because of his attitude.

If he is cut (he would most likely be traded though if the Bills decide to move on), I wouldn’t mind if the Pats sign him with a prove it deal. I think Vrabel and players in the locker room have a better chance to change Coleman’s attitude than other teams can. I think the Patriots’ locker room is strong enough to overcome his distraction if not.

Good points Rob. IMO with BB likely keeping his name out there for coaching jobs.. if bean did move on McDermott they'd heavily go after bb IMO of course.

But yeah Coleman it's definitely an attitude factor for sure.. the guys a big physical WR who if tapped into his potential could be a player in the league.. the talent he possesses absolutely would like to have him. The locker room here is absolutely a place where he could come in and be bought in from day 1.. I remember hearing on ESPN that he didn't like the idea of the bills offense being a run heavy offense that was like back in training camp..
