We Will Demolish the Jags

I grew up 10 miles from the stadium and went to high school with the son of the patriots head coach (although I don't think he was the head coach at the time).

I am a fan from way back. And I refer to the Pats as "they" instead of "we" because I don't consider myself part of the team. I don't think any fans are really 'part' of the team.

If I am wrong I will be pleasantly surprised. But I sense a tough game, at the very least. Jags dominated Indy.....not that that means anything. But they can play poorly too. I think they'll be up for this game though. They're fighting for a playoff shot, aren't they?

I question whether "we" will be fast enough on defense to stop their running game, even with Taylor out. I question whether we can get to the QB enough...anyway it will be a good game, I hope. I am looking forward to it.

Come now laddy, let's see some consistency. If you can defend the NEM, you can defend the McBee.

No no no... the thoughts of these two are different.

McBee doesn't sound like a true fan. It's almost as if he wants the Pats to lose.

NEM just wants Joshy Mac to die a slow and painful death in the most brutal and inhuman way possible so that Vinny can take over play-calling

You never know wtf you are going to get with Jax. They murder Indy yet get swept by Houston, who as I watched that game last week thought might be one of the worst NFL teams I had ever seen play.

End of the day, Jax does not scare me. Pats historically own them. I have doubts that MJD can carry the load an entire game. And their defense is good, if but somewhat overrated.

It will be a cold day in hell when BB loses to a coach who was a player in the original Tecmo Bowl.

Therre is no bigger JINX on this board than Keegs. Hopefully this thread will atone for his many past curses.

Don't tease, NEM attacks the Patriots and their fans frequently. But you are correct about the difference in their thoughts, McBee is an honest crap slinger who makes no bones about his remarks. Ban NEM, ignore McBee.

I think the Pats will be pummelled. If they win, I will be the first to say I was wrong.

But I doubt it. I doubt Maroney plays, or plays much. That injury could take a while to heal.

In the old days BB would eat a QB like Garrard up. I just don't think they have the personnel to do it.

Plus they have the human turnstile, the traffic cone, aka the fence post at LT protecting Brady. Corey Dillon running for 2 yards and a cloud of dust. I respect the guy, but he's painfully slow.

This could be the second florida beat down the month for the pats boys. We'll see.

wow dude--that is a pretty sucky post

Dillon > Pokey Smith, and Pokey could do better than +2ypc against this JAX team

NEP are better than they were last January. NEP are healthier than they were last January. JAX are less healthy and less talented.

Wright is a better match for Drew--expect more offset 4-3 packages this game as Wright and Jarvis can get in there quicker. No Taylor, no Wilfork is a wash.

Jones-Drew became the lead back last week against Tennessee when Fred Taylor went down with injury in the 1st quarter. He carried 25 times for 98 yards (less than 4 yards a pop), against the Titan's average run D, and was seen getting an X-ray after the game for an injured calf, which Del Rio fraudulently listed as a "knee" injury this week. Toefield will get more carries, and Mike Wright or no, the Pats will not lose this game on the ground. They may give up yardage but not enough to lose this game. Garrard will have to throw to win.

Tomlinson had a rib injury similar to Maroney's last year and was ineffective down the stretch, both running and receiving. It may be wise to dial down expectations for Maroney this week. TE Thomas getting more opportunities is a blessing in disguise. He has hands of stickum and will become Tom's best friend, a reliable check-down target which Brady hasn't had most of the year. I like this offense with Faulk and Thomas healthy. It is a conservative, grind it out, playoff winning style offense. If Maroney can contribute to the passing game by playoff time this team will be a very tough out... a puncher's chance at the big dance...:rocker:

nice

i have been telling people all week when i hear them groaning about watson--this gives thomas more snaps and while he may not be 10' tall and run a 3.6 40, he catches the ball, takes a lick and pops right up

like watson, but very intrigued by thomas...he's a gamer...

graham and thomas next year? works for me...

i am sure you can tell the difference. NEM is no troll.

A lot of factual information in there. I will be less pessimistic as I watch the game now.

More like a spammer.

Spams this Forum incessantly with the same old, tired, multiply refuted arguements and is impervious to fact and logic. Fills up pages of threads with useless noise, hoging bandwidth full of "Look at ME!!!" threads.

Once in a while would be entertaining. Incessantly is beyond annoying.

The Trolls are entertaining and present NEW postulates to rebut. Not same old same old time and again.
