Cousins and the Redskins look intent on an NFCE team finishing with a winning record. Hell they actually are playing like they deserve this unimpressive division's title.
half way through the season I thought the Skins were all but toast as well as the nails were all but pounded into Gruden's coffin. So considering the issues and drama that played out with RGIII as well as the rest of the 'stuff' that played out earlier offseason/in season, like it or not I believe Gruden deserves some credit. It's gotta be a tough for a new-ish coach with a failing superstar crowd/media favorite QB, plus a meddling prima donna owner trying to buy instant success, to overcome that. It really seemed like all the stars were aligned for Gruden to be put down.
For Kelly, I don't disagree with a coach GM doing it the way he wants to do it. If he thought these moves were right for the Eagles then that is what you should do. If you are going to fail then fail doing it your own way versus someone else's way. But the trade for Bradford will always be most perplexing to me. 2013 and 2014 the Eagles had winning records. Foles had proven enough in so far as he could perform the task of QB fairly decently. To trade away that not easy to find and valuable commodity for a guy that was so unknown on how he would perform for your team?? Don't get that one. Last year's Philly team probably walks away with the division this year...
