There is no doubt in my mind that either Cannon is gone or will take a pay cut.

He looked fine in his 37 snaps with the Patriots, but I really don't think people realize how terrible he was with the Lions before getting cut. Hopefully he's better this coming season another year removed from his torn ACL, but I'm having a hard time getting as excited about this as many people seem to be.

I like it. Looked like he had potential in his limited playing time. With him and Fleming (he played well in 2014) we have good depth at OT. Dump Cannon and draft an OT and I think we'll be ok. I don't see us making any noise in FA for an OT so we better be ok

Young OTs with staying experience are hard to find so this move is a big deal to me. Scar will do his thing on him. Obviously a younger improvement on Cannon, and minimizes the need to draft an OT too.

Like this move, should mean Cannon and his ridiculous cap hit will be gone.

There's a Reason why they call'm "Waddle."

He's not without Skill, but if'd bothered wrighting'm up, it would've been as an Auxiliary ~ 6th/7th Rounder.

This is nobody I'd want as Next Mann Up if I can help it.

I'd keep looking, if I were Bill.

He's in the mix. I haven't had enough coffee to feel more emotion towards it than that.

Every time I see that guy's name I think of Mabel's pig from Gravity Falls.

He doesn't fit the normal athletic profiles, based on his abysmal combine performance, but there's no question he's much improved from those days. Good backup, but I hope we have further plans at OT for the future.

Waddle is well worth having.

Maybe the team thinks he has shown enough to be the swing tackle, maybe not.

He's CLEARLY worth the $250K bonus and a 2 year contract at about $1.2M a year.
