Vince Wilfork best NT in the league?

Casey Hampton is the best NT in the game IMO. The Steelers have not had a back rush for 100 yards on them for a long time. Wilfork may be approaching that level but I'm not ready to say he's better than Hampton.

I really don't think anyone could argue against Wilfork, Jamaal Williams, or either of the Williams from Minnesota.

He is getting there, the best young NT by far. It is hard to go against Williams (31) and Hampton (30) but they are both 30 or over. BB recently called him "the most complete player he's ever coached at the position" Hard to go against BB.

Wilfork is also hungry (pun intended) and has improved each year. I hope we get to see Seymour, Warren and Wilfork on the field together a whole lot the next couple of season. Both he and Seymour are FAs after the 2009 season.

Wilfork is the #1 guy to lock up early with Randy Moss and Ellis Hobbs rounding up the list.

Yup, people need to think about how young Wilfork (25) is compared to both Williams and Hampton. I can say without question I'd take Wilfork over those two if I was building a team. The reason for this is Wilfork should have more years left at at least his current level while both Williams and Hampton could start declining over the next few years.

In my biased opinion he is the best NT.

he plays the role of a NT to a T and he has been known to make a few gifted plays here and there.
