Kudos to Charelli and Neely for solidifying the Bruins front office.
Nice to get business done before the Sept. 15th deadline.

Not sure Seguin will ever be a super star ... but he'll always be up near the top somewhere.

Boston Bruins sign Tyler Seguin to six-year contract extension - ESPN Boston

The Boston Bruins have signed forward Tyler Seguin to a six-year contract extension worth an average of $5.75 million a year, the Bruins announced Tuesday morning. The deal starts after this season and runs through 2018-19.
Also, two players who were selected in the same draft as Seguin -- Taylor Hall (Oilers, seven years at $6 million per season) and Jeff Skinner (Hurricanes, six years, $5.75 million per) -- have inked long-term extensions.

If the current collective bargaining agreement expires on Sept. 15, there will be a freeze on all player personnel transactions.
