From the Pats:

The New England Patriots have announced that they will open training camp on Thursday, July 30 at Gillette Stadium. More information, including practice schedules and interview times, will be available in the days leading up to the official opening of camp.

Just for summertime planning purposes

Cool, after missing last year's camp, I expect to be back this year. I think that may have been a contributing factor to Brady's injury.

That's a little bit later this year than in the past, but I suppose that makes sense since the regular season starts later (September 10-14) than usual.

I leave the US from my summer holiday back to China on August 1st. Looks like I'll miss camp again.

Hope to make my annual trip down this year. I like to wait until the 2nd or 3rd week as it seems to get more serious as the pre-season games are ready to start.

I love pats tc its the only time were you actually get to see the players from close to 20 ft away. Cant wait.

I'm supposed to work the 30th and 31st, but maybe I'll try to play hookie on the 31st.

Let us know if you go. Its looking like an 80% chance im going. That would make two years in a row which hasnt happened since i moved from Mass.

Will do for sure. If I can go it will be the 31st.

Damn, I'm going to be in town the weekend before that. I thought for sure they'd start around the 23rd, oh well, guess I'll still go to the HOF.

Me, too. I had it penciled in as the previous week, which would have worked out better for my summer schedule.

I'm amazed they didn't consult with me first.

YES!! Let the competition begin! I can't wait to see how the Pats 2009 roster shakes out.
