He ended the day with a 25 yard one hander from Dobbs. Got to be his best play so far.

Other than Pop this WR battle is wide open.
I don’t think Hollins is part of the WR battles

Hollins

Are locks.

I think they will keep 6 and right now, I would give that spot to Baker

That's probably the key. Still, that would mean there's 7 on the roster.

Hollins

Have they ever carried 7 before? Even when Slate was strictly STs?
In the past I think they carried 6 counting Slate

I'm not feeling great about what's happening at RT, where we have a starter who they've got on a pitch count and two backups who aren't looking very good right now.
The only negative I saw was the Rookie RT/LT being beat on a couple of one on ones. Just like you would expect to happen against Washington's ones for your 7th round DEVELOPMENTAL rookie. I didn't hear much about his play in teams being subpar.

Sounds like a pretty decent start towards his development. Some good, Some bad. Learn and get better for the next time.

Oh C'mon I'm sure we can get Barefoot Hollins on our Taxi squad.

Good.

Let the hate flow, Campbell.

Be nasty.

I don’t and I think the coaching sees him as a core veteran piece of the offense.

He contributes in ST and he is one of the best run blocker WR in the league

Does Chism get claimed if they put him on PS?
That's hard to predict, but if you checked out the 31 other fan boards there is one Chism-like WR on every team's roster that fans and the media are talking about. And a FEW of them will make rosters and a few will get injured and wind up on PS. Remember we always like our guys the best.

Vrabel says he's got an ailment. Why wouldn't we want a better backup situation?
Well after jumping into the scrum I’m not surprised he’s got an ailment.

Wait a minute, was Vrabel talking about Moses or himself?

Why?
He is RB1
Henderson is more valuable as a passing game back, change of pace, and receiver than he would be getting 25 carries a game.
The 38th pick with a guaranteed contract won't be warming the bench.

Henderson is BOTH passing and running which does not telegraph to the defense what type of play is coming. Furthermore he was the best blocking RB in the draft.

It would make zero sense to not have Henderson very involved in the 25 Pats offense who is digging out from being 31st in the NFL.

Seriously, it's the most packed practice by all accounts, how are there no pics of this???!!!
I need a new background logo.
I expect it will be all over the tv highlights from tonight through the game Friday. I’ll have to see if it makes the DC sportscasts tonight.

It may just be a scrimmage but I’d rather read the reports we read this year vs. the reports we had vs the Eagles last year. I won’t get too high or low either way but positive is positive, right? I’m more encouraged by the lack of injury news. It sounded like a scrappy practice so to escape without any injuries is a win in my book.
It seemed like a lot of positive comments were coming out of that joint practice vs Washington today. I’m sure some talking head idiot like Felger will say, Maye is still inaccurate and a turnover machine, and the line looked horrible, wash and repeat, blah blah blah, but honest people did say the Pats looked good on both sides of the ball.

This practice means more than the game on Friday, since most of the starters will only get one series.

30 freaking pages in one day about practice?

I wonder if I could get ChatGPT to analyze this thread for me and give me a summary, you lunatics
Summary:

Will Campbell lost a one-on-one, bust.

Drake May had a tipped ball pick, bust.

Mike Vrabel is our best linebacker, our LBs are busts.

@Steve102 doesn’t think Kyle Williams makes the team, bust.

Wait… the usual suspects aren’t here.

I ****ing love Mike Vrabel
Yep.

Certainly you want a head coach here long term and not one that flames out after a year because their message grows stale or players tire of the coach but this type of attitude and action establishes culture.

This is huge and not some antic.

This is who Vrabes is and what he wants this team to become.
