Grid, can you remember any recent draft’s where th first round was as fluid as this one appears to be?
IMHO, this draft is like all the others. Teams start to focus on particular players as the draft comes closer.

The wild card is almost always the quarterbacks. So, yes, since there are 6 possible first rounders, this draft is more fluid that most. It is the placement of the quarterbacks that makes the draft seems so fluid. I don't other positions are changing more in rankings than usual. Of course, as more quarterbacks are moved to the top in rankings, more top defensive talent moves down.

However, in the end, there are a 7-10 studs, and then there are the quarterbacks. It is not clear that any of the quarterbacks is more than 50% to be a franchise quarterback. However, that percentage is MUCH higher if drafted by the patriots who won't ruin the qb with poor coaching, or by rushing him in when he isn't ready, or by having a terrible OL (and yes, I agree that some quarterbacks are ready to start).
