The BIG news in New England going into day two is the almighty important #33

Are we picking or trading?

I expect to trade down in the 2nd with a 2012 pick as additional compensation.

Yeah, Wash, and SF will want a QB here. Miami too. I see swapping seconds with SF and getting their 12 second and perhaps a later round pick this year. Wash and Miami will have to cough up more in tonights rounds as well as the second next year.

I said it earlier this month

Despite what media thinks about Henne, the word out is that Miami STILL thinks Henne is worthy of being the Starter for them in 2011...Miami might wait for Stanzi in round 3 if they want a backup for 2011 but I think Henne will be getting the snaps from Pouncey in 2011

I look for Miami to go after a RB or TE in round 2

I'm thinking a pick in the mid 40s plus a 2012 2nd

I'm hoping for a Trade Down + OUT.

What I'd REALLY love to see...is a trade for #81 and the Raiders 2012 1st Rounder!!

Double or Nothing!! :rocker:

How Ironic that would be,considering we traded a few years ago with the Raiders for a guy we gave jersey #81 to

Forgot who that dogfaker's name was

They will definitely trade. Mallett, Dalton, Kaepernick are going to go early. Buffalo and Cincinnati get the next two picks.

Hopefully the Pats get another 2012 1st rounder out of this. That would be SWEET.

Knowing how sly Belichick is,he will piss you all off by not only keeping pick 33, but drafting a QB with that 33rd pick when all of you are sure others will trade up with him for that very reason.

Nothing is certain in NE.

Seeing as Miami doesn't have a second-rounder this year. . . .

the patriots have never been in a better position to reap the benefits of a single draft pick, they will trade this pick and make a killing.

this pick, if traded to the right team, could be a top 10 pick in 2012 and another 2nd rounder later in this same 2011 draft.

BB on the trade interest; make of it what you will.

“But a couple of teams have called about that, that are kind of in the middle of the round, so I’m sure there’s somebody that they like. Kind of like New Orleans saw a player that they like (in dealing for the Patriots’ second first-round pick to select Alabama running back Mark Ingram on Thursday night) so we’ll just play it by ear.”

I'm betting its the Redskins who trade up for #33.
By trading down in the 1st and taking Kerrigan, they acquired an extra 2nd round pick in this year's draft.
When the Redskins have draft ammo to spend, when have you known them NOT to use it?

I think BB is trading this pick. If a team wants a QB, they have to get ahead of Buffalo and Cincy.

I'm thinking BB gets a 2012 first rounder out of the deal at least.

Proposed this trade with SF on the main board...

#33 & #159

for

#45, #108, #115 & #190
