Quarterback
1. Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville
2. Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M
3. Blake Bortles, Central Florida
4. Derek Carr, Fresno State
5. Zach Mettenberger, Louisiana State
I honestly don't know what people see in Bortles. I think he needs a lot of work and is way overrated at this point. Bridgewater is the most pro-ready quarterback in this draft. Mettenberger could be a steal for someone.
Wide receiver
1. Sammy Watkins, Clemson
2. Mike Evans, Texas A&M
3. Marqise Lee, USC
4. Odell Beckham Jr., Louisiana State
5. Kelvin Benjamin, Florida State
This seems about right. I think the Giants are going to target Mike Evans. He would be disgusting in their offense in a year or two. Benjamin isn't the fastest guy, but I honestly think he might be the most pro-ready WR to come out this year. Big bodied, athletic receiver with soft hands and a nice red zone target.
Tight end
1. Eric Ebron, North Carolina
2. Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington
3. Jace Amaro, Texas Tech
4. C.J. Fiedorowicz, Iowa
5. Troy Niklas, Notre Dame
Almost right. Ebron is going to be long gone by the time we draft. Hopefully ASJ falls into the 2nd and makes it to the Pats (which is definitely a possibility if we trade out of the first). Amaro was being overrated but it looks like that's caught up to him. I would take him in the 2nd as well. I think Fiedorowicz is average at best. I would put Niklas at 4 and Fiedorowicz at 5. Just just my opinion.
Guard
1. Xavier Su’a-Filo, UCLA
2. Cyril Richardson, Baylor
3. David Yankey, Stanford
4. Gabe Jackson, Mississippi State
5. Chris Watt, Notre Dame
If the Pats stay put, Su'a-Filo could very well be their first round pick. All of this board would grumble (and they may be correct in their grumbling for a number of reasons), but he's the best OG in the draft and would instantly upgrade Connolly. If they do that and add Martin at C later on, the interior OL would be upgraded from where it's been the last two years. Yankey would be a nice option later on as well. I agree with this list.
Center
1. Marcus Martin, USC
2. Weston Richburg, Colorado State
3. Travis Swanson, Arkansas
4. Bryan Stork, Florida State
5. Tyler Larsen, Utah State
Looks right to me. A lot of others in the Draft forum may put Richburg ahead of Martin, though.
Defensive tackle
1. Louis Nix III, Notre Dame
2. Aaron Donald, Pittsburgh
3. Ra’Shede Hageman, Minnesota
4. Timmy Jernigan, Florida State
5. Stephon Tuitt, Notre Dame
Donald should be above Nix right now, even though Nix is better against the run. Donald was a dominant 3-tech pass rusher at Pitt and is the binky of a lot of people in the draft forum, noteably mayoclinic. I like him, but I don't see him falling into the range where the Pats would trade up. I've been wrong before. Jernigan and Easley would be other 3-tech options. Jernigan's stock has slipped a bit.
Defensive end
1. Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina
2. Dee Ford, Auburn
3. Kony Ealy, Missouri
4. Scott Crichton, Oregon State
5. Kareem Martin, North Carolina
Looks right. I've been high on Martin since before the Combine. Nice to see him getting some love.
Linebacker
1. Khalil Mack, Buffalo
2. C.J. Mosley, Alabama
3. Anthony Barr, UCLA
4. Ryan Shazier, Ohio State
5. Kyle Van Noy, BYU
I would put Barr ahead of Mosley, personally. Shazier actually might be an interesting prospect to look at for SS. That's been brought up a few times since his 40 yard dash.
Cornerback
1. Darqueze Dennard, Michigan State
2. Justin Gilbert, Oklahoma State
3. Bradley Roby, Ohio State
4. Jason Verrett, TCU
5. Kyle Fuller, Virginia Tech
Gilbert has put himself ahead of Dennard for now. They should both be gone before we're up. Othersise, I agree with the list.
Safety
1. Calvin Pryor, Louisville
2. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Alabama
3. Deone Bucannon, Washington State
4. Lamarcus Joyner, Florida State
5. Jimmie Ward, Northern Illinois
Pryor is my binky and is the most violent hitter in the draft. He would look great across from McCourty in the defensive backfield and would compliment him perfectly. He'll be long gone, though. He won't get past Dallas if he even makes it that far. Not as high on Clinton-Dix as others, but he is the #2 prospect. I like Bucannon as the second most violent hitter in the draft, but he sometimes takes bad angles. Joyner is overrated, IMO. Antone Exum and Keith McGill, both CB's, are 6'0'+ prospects that posted good times at the Combine that could be SS candidates later on.
