We forgot about it because the NYFL and media want us to forget.

The same thing is at work with the real manipulators of footballs in 2014, the NYFL charity ball thief. I can't even remember his name.

The topic is the issue for me, not the player. But since you brought him up...

...jk.

Absolutely remarkable film documentary on an intriguing side story to what I consider the greatest Super Bowl yet to be played.

Stolen Jersey? Is this the thread where I root for the laundry?

You're thinking of Scott Miller, who was an NFL employee since 2005 and worked for NFL Auctions (also a self-described Jets fan from Queens.) Miller is one of the few people who we know was definitely doing something wrong the night of the 2014 AFCCG, but his name largely unknown. According to a comment from this PFT article, Miller was also stealing game worn jerseys intended for auction, but I couldn't find any corroboration of that.

Aside from some articles in mid-February of 2015, Scott Miller and his actions have received no attention. He's not mentioned in the Deflategate wikipedia entry or in the Wells Report. There was never any follow up articles to address natural questions, like how long had he been stealing auction items and was he working alone? Like the PSI numbers the league was supposed to be maintaining, Miller just disappeared from the public eye. No one remembers him or asks about him.
