Tom Brady to flip coin at Super Bowl

I thought one reason Brady is selected to toss the coin is that he played his college games in nearby Ann Arbor.

Just like Jerome Bettis, Super Bowl XL is also a "homecoming" event for Mr. Brady.

I think its cool. Whether it is just him or there are 30 others, I like it. This may be his only chance to see the SB as a spectator (until he retires), so more power to him for going for the gusto.

I would rather he were in uniform and playing but any Patriots are better than none at all.
