Regardless, 9 people dying in a helicopter crash is horrible.

I haven't been following the different media outlets closely, but I have to say that not only did TMZ break the news by a good half hour (which is an eternity in today's media) but I haven't seen them get one report wrong. Now maybe they did and they took it down and I missed it, but AFAIK it wasn't TMZ saying all 4 of Kobe's children were on board.

Ehhh...it sounded like she was distracted. She clearly said the N word but it was a weird hesitation and I can’t say with any certainty she said it on purpose, and I think it’s a huge stretch to say she subconsciously was thinking about it or uses it normally without knowing about her. Despite being on TV, she’s a real person and might be 100% not racist and not sure a 2-second moment like this should ruin her life and career. I think the network should hire an independent firm to investigate the situation.

Just my opinion. I’m sure people will disagree.

Assuming (and I know what that means) it’s the one I saw, looks like a completely different locale than the news feeds that we know to be the crash site.

The one I saw literally looks like someone crashed in the Grand Canyon....
