I hate the guy and never read his column unless it is pointed out to me like this thread, but he seems pretty fair and balanced. Other than the karma crap with the Patriots for running up the score and the Spying Elviis, he did give the Patriots a glowing review and basically say that they could be the Super Bowl winner although he is going with Indy because of the stupid karma angle.

I thought he paid homage to the 07 Pats too-I've got no issue with what he said about them except for his "karma" krap, and the fact he just couldn't resist throwing in the inevitable spygate barb. The spygate reference ruined what was actually a great take on last year's Patriots. I have no problem that he picked another team to win the SB either-to expect everyone to pick the Pats is ridiculous.

Manning vs. Manning will never happen. First of all, even if the Colts can get to the Super Bowl again before Peyton starts to resemble Johnny Unitas, which is getting closer than we think, Sheli won't be back anytime soon. I could see the Giants finishing last in the NFC East this year. That division is down right brutal!

Sheli should feel fortunate to get that moron moniker off his back and can now finish out his career in relative anonimity.
