And this is exactly why people argue that Brady's stats are more impressive than other quarterbacks. He gets basically no free garbage time stats, and oftentimes the second half is about ball control and conservative field position battles. It's extremely rare to see him throwing 2 TDs and hitting 400 yards late in games while down by 20+ points.

That's always been my argument against Drew Brees. So many years he was constantly down 21 points in the 2nd half he had no choice but to throw it 50 times.
