IMO it was a mistake to not sign him. Of course he can sign with whoever he wants. Give up a 7th to bring him back.

The Patriots pick something like third after the league cutdowns so maybe they can pick him up there and maybe they can get a LT, a broken down mule of a LT, but maybe better than what we have. It is the last chance after the pathetic off season the Patriots have had.

They should be looking for a good TE at the cutdown anyway, another Pharaoh Brown type because our tackles are either going to suck or at least be young and inexperienced.

Hunter Henry, Hooper and Bell are the only worthwhile TE's/HBacks on the roster... the rest are no good. If they're all hurt but the rookie they need to hit the waiver wire on cutdown day.

Brycen Hopkins is sitting out there unsigned, I might kick the tires on him. He's not necessarily a blocking TE but he's got decent size and is athletic.
