i can see a mediocre qb like siemian giving us issues considering he has two pro bowl wr's and our corners other than butler suck.

I think the Pats lose 2 of the next 7. Probably at Miami (because it's always a pain in the ass there), plus one more TBD. That should give the Pats the #1 seed, most likely.

Denver already is a game behind + has to face KC twice and oakland again. They may not be our biggest threat. OTOH if they beat them and us for homefield, they are the better team.

I think its really the coaching matchups in the remaining games which will matter . Any other coached team last nite wouldve fumbled with the pats. Teams like seattle,baltimore etc have the personality to come into NE to win.

I'm not too worried about the rest of the regular season schedule. The lack of decent QB play remaining should be enough to get by defensively and secure the #1 seed (with the offense doing the heavy lifting).

What I am worried about, is come playoff time, the opposing offenses and QBs won't be awful for 3 games straight (assuming they can make it that far). The offenses will be fairly competent and the QBs will be solid. Siemian being the exception, who's been below average for the most part this year. Although I still worry about him looking like Montana out there.

-Any QB can do what Wilson did last night. Heck, I'd say Wilson wasn't that great last night either.

- So yeah Kap can drop 500 on these guys. Wide open receivers usually are easy to hit.

- We are in for a massive rude awakening, one BB and TB felt when they bleeping snuck it to burn clock because they know the D is a sieve.

So yeah, all these QBs will have career days the rest of the season. Doesn't mean they will lose but it will be ugly. Then a merciful kill shot in the divisional round so these defensive cry babies can go get paid more then than they are worth. Did you se where Howe said freelancing was in full effect last night? I'd cut more today. F-them. They play for the greatest coach of all time with the greatest QB. And you can't play the right way?

It's not just the stats, its the fact that Wilson had a ton of time more often than not and guys were getting wide open. Sure, he made some good tough throws to, but he had a lot of easy completions. It's been the story all year. It's been too easy.
