Actually, that wouldn't apply--the ewing theory is about a team losing a guy that got a lot of attention who never won anything. So that's out.

Look, there's so many threads and posts about this it's painful. And of course it sucks.....but it doesn't suck like losing the super bowl sucked. The bright side of this is this--there was such a heavy weight to so many of the games last year. Spygate BS, running up the score, the perfect season, blah blah blah. Now the Pats can have the fun again of being an underdog. The Jets, for example, are EXPECTED to win next week. The pressure if off the Pats. If they can actually make some hay this year, it's going to be amazingly sweet. So let's see what happens.
