Haven't seen Hoyer try to sneak a pass in while he's falling over. Things like that are why he's the #2 and the next franchise QB, as some like to see him, is sitting in firm control on #3.

I have absolutely nothing against Mallet but he's the #3 for a reason, the line isn't giving him any help, but that doesn't mean you try to make something out of nothing by lobbing up a prayer while you're halfway to the ground.

LOL.......He was hit while making the throw........decision had nothing to do with it.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Patriots LB Dane Fletcher sustained a torn left ACL in Thursday's preseason opener.Fletcher drew the start in the middle with Brandon Spikes sitting out.

I wonder why he hasn't earned that chance in any of the practices. Don't get me wrong, he looked good tonight, but he's gonna have to do more than dominate the freshmen team. How about he proves himself on JV first?

Isn't what he does in the games that counts though? He's looked very good against the Freshmen, as you say but I think they should give him an earlier chance.

No doubt. All Ridley did was run 8 times for 40 yards for a lousy 5 ypc against pretty much the starters.

Hopefully theseguys compliment each other as they get more reps.
