Odds are usually figured in numbers like 2-1 or 5-1 or a million to one. I am sick of those numbers. I am using my own method of figuring the odds now. I figure that the odds of losing tonight's game are about on par with the Chinese getting to the dark side of the moon by February.
You can do the numbers on that if you want.
I don't mean to be disrespectful of the Jags. I happen to like the Jags' style and attitude. I like Del Rio, I like Garrard (great personal story), and I like the idea that the NFL provides high level competition like what the Jags can provide, I like the idea of a new team getting to the top, etc. They're a good, tough team and they work hard. They are making Florida proud.
But there is no way they can beat the Patriots unless the Chinese figure out how to film a moon landing without Stanley (Kubrick). Too bad for the Jags and the Chinese that Stanley is dead. At least with Stanley they would have had a shot. With him dead, the Chinese and the Jags have no shot. That's what I just told my bookie.
My bookie's response? "Whatever".
You see bookies are actually fools who don't know true geniuses when they see them coming.
