We'll see if we sign any more today. I do not remember so many patriot signings in the first week. It is not unusual for top playoff teams to be almost completely absent from this first week, when players are often overpaid.
====================
We have re-signed 5 of our own.

We have signed 10 from other teams.
====================
We have 13 players from last year's team still out there as UFAs (including the top 3 DE free agent prospects in the league).

DE Anderson
WR Branch
DE Carter
DE Ellis
RB Faulk
RB Green-Ellis
LB Guyton
S Ihedigbo
DB Jones
C Koppen
S Lockett
CB Molden
DL Warren

Haha the top 3 DE prospects in the league? come on man thats a little biased

I've watched nfln all week. This is their assessment.

Wonder where Ellis is going. Anyone heard ?

He clearly stipulated that these are the best DEs remaining in free agency. I have no problem with that statement. Carter was a pro bowler last year, and Anderson finished with 12.5 sacks, including playoffs. Sounds reasonable to me to call them the best in FA.

Ellis . . . well. I'll give you that one.
