It was worse than XL. I miss the days when we were in the Superbowl and especially in 38 when everyone witnessed the greatest Superbowl of all time. But now it is all a bunch of crap.

I thought Prince rocked it, I thought the commercials were a-ight, and Manning winning the MVP was an absolute joke. That should have been an Addai/Rhodes, or Indy o-line co-MVP type setup.

And unfortunately, both the weather and Rex ****ing GROSS-man contributed to the stinkitude of the game. In fact, maybe Grossman should have been MVP.

It was so sloppy that it didn't even seem like a SB. The Colts weren't even that emotional when they won because they know they're lucky to be playing such a crappy team like the Bears.

Grossman can't one pump throw, why have him double-pump? To give the defense more time? They already know the play.

Is there a play in the Chicago playbook called "Up for grabs?"

I looked up Grossman in a Yiddish dictionary. It said "Eason-ish"

I liked the commercial wth the idea of slapping instead of touching fists. I think many of the Bears wanted to "new touch fists" with Rex on the sidelines.

100% agree. The worst by far. So funny how the leauge sucks unless the Patriots are playing. We're in a leauge of our own.

Prince, despite being forced to employ second rate generic choreography, having no meaningful backup vocalists, and not being a voice that plays well in an outdoor arena, gave a fine, demonstrative effort in the pouring rain - it's not his fault the NFL paid him to sing songs no one remembers or still haven't heard (it could not have been Prince's idea to do the cover of that psuedo indie hit "the best of you,"). He was the highlight after the first 10 minutes of game.

Grossman set the new low for SuperBowl QB's, it's hard to imagine him being any worse though he wasn't aided by the inadequate and unimaginative play calling from his sidelines. Lovie Smith and Co. just lost control of themselves.

Manning stinks and tried to give this one away like he has so many other playoff games. Rhodes, Sanders or Saturday should have gotten the MVP before Manning did.

And if Nance referred to Manning as "Peyton" one more time I was going to pop! And I thought "Jim" was a professional.

It was a really bad game but not the worst.

3 of Buffalo's loses were worse.
Denver's first 3 trips with Elway were worse
The Ravens blowout of the Giants was worse
Raiders crushing the Skins was worse
Tampa crushing the Raiders

and I hate to say it.............Bears crushing the Pats was worse on soooo many levels.

So many bad SBs.

The SBs without the Patriots in them this decade have not been good games.
