Texans trade wide receiver Keshawn Martin to New England

I believe Martin will play a kick return role for us. Hopefully this will save some wear and tear on Edelman who is our de facto #1 WR right now.

What is interesting is that Nathan Palmer has 4.34 speed (Pro Day), supposedly good hands, and great athletic ability.. yet they went out and got Keyshawn Martin.. I wonder if that makes Palmer the odd man out if/when the Pats re-sign Thornton..

Martin is a 3-year pro who Belichick sees as a better return man than Harper or Palmer. I don't see the mystery. And, Palmer is missing from practice today, so it seems that he indeed gone.
