In the words of the late Lou Gorman, "Tight ends will come, tight ends will go, and I will have lunch."

But will Nick Caley?

It's actually a sweet opportunity for Nick.

Any coach can look good with Gronk. So good you fly under the radar.

This is a chance to develop a young player (my binky Izzo) and receive credit for it, in a system that knows how to put people in a position to succeed.

Wtf, Patricia trying to unload damaged goods on us.....

Every team seemingly has different health standards.

Remember, GB put Marty on IR and later released him but NE doctors passed him.

Roberts had a shoulder injury which landed him on IR him in Dec. I'm assuming that's it

Oops, forgot to use sarcasm font....

Well, that's kind of a bummer. I was looking forward to talking about his 11.5" hands every time he caught/dropped a ball.

We tried to play the get a look at him see how hurt he is find out the rehab timeframe.
Sign him after he cleared waivers.
They called us on our crap congrats to the Packers.

I THINK that our #3 TE is going to come to us via the waiver wire on final cut day. For example just look at what the Pack have a TE. They already have Graham, Sternberger, and MLewis. Frankly I can only guess that they picked Roberts up as insurance against injury. So if no one gets hurt, Roberts will be available OR someone else just as intriguing that didn't make another team who have a lot of TE depth.

I've already come to grips that the Pats TE is NOT going to replace Gronk, or even a Gronk-lite. It will be what it is and the offense will still thrive in another manner. No use worrying about it.

A few days ago you guys were foaming at the mouth and said Roberts looked like a real keeper.
