The problem with USA is that we're all ready to hate on people for saying something that we don't like.
F those awful men, but there is not enough positivity these days among all of us.

Donald Sterling is no worse than your old Uncle Joe... or perhaps, you. He may be a jerk, and/or a moron, but he should be able to speak privately about his own personal views, which were at one point acceptable in the exact spot you stand. It doesn't make it right, but there is a lot of wrong out there going uncorrected...

Oh well, 2 BBBBillion for $$terling to walk away from a game he never truly loved; what a punishment.

Everybody needs to calm down and get along. Usually if something bothers you, it shouldn't.

I actually have an old Uncle Joe and, while he isn't terribly likeable, he hasn't done any of the despicable things Sterling has done in his life, and I'm not talking about Sterling's recent ignorant statements. Those statements are literally nothing compared to his malicious and predatory actions covering decades.

In case you fellas don't know it, the NAACP of Phoenix was scheduled to give Sterling a "Lifetime Achievement Award for Civil Rights" the day the Sterling bru ha ha blew up...

They had to hastily cancel and join the parade, when he objected to his trophy girlfriend dating a younger guy, who just happened to be black and gay and infected.

Everything is not just Black and White. ( in more ways than one!)

And yet America didn't care a bit about his past transgressions. I had literally no idea who Donald Sterling was before this and I follow the NBA. But when he said something that's not so nice in the direction of a certain group of people, America blew up and a ****storm ensued. That should tell you something about this country, where people piled on him for being politically incorrect but didn't bat an eye for transgressions that were much worse before that.

Sure, but what's your point? That America and it's people, being unaware of this ****'s transgressions, should give him a pass rather than"pile on" him? Every time people on message boards don't like what's posted, they label that opinion as politically incorrect. What a steaming load of phony bailout BS that is.
Opinions in their true essence aren't "politically correct" or "politically incorrect", so ****can that phony phrase. They're either correct or incorrect. You're a very good poster,but please don't suggest that Sterling is some kind of victim here. He's not. He's a racist SOB and has been his entire adult life by every measure. Someone earlier weakly tried to defend Sterling by pointing out that the NAACP gave this **** an award or was intending to. WTF, that organization deserves all of the criticism it gets if that's true. None of it changes the the fact that Sterling is not a victim and whatever bad things happen to him are more than deserved.
