Super Bowl LII could be final game for Danny Amendola

Amendola will sign a 3 year deal in NE to finish his career with Brady and Edelman. He will get paid decently and have a shot at more rings. It hasn’t been about the money for him, that’s obvious, winning, especially with his friends, is clearly what matters most.

Now, if he wanted to become a dentist after he hangs them up then I could see moving to Indiana to establish himself.

If DA was a little bit younger I would say yes but at his age that's not the Patriots way. Also he wouldn't have to take a pay cut with his next Team. I see the Patriots investing in the younger guys going forward Cooks -Dorsett - Mitchell may be a Rookie in upcoming Draft no room in the Inn for DA.

Not saying DA wouldn't leave, but here's maybe why he takes pay cuts to stay here: In Scituate, they consider Danny Amendola one of their own
Great story, thanks for the link. Clearly there is hometown in his hometown discount:

Amendola has deep roots in the town. He spent childhood summers here and still visits regularly. His mother Rose’s family has been here for decades in the tight-knit oceanside hamlet of Sand Hills.
...
Amendola’s grandparents, Roseann and Jim McCarthy, still live in the same Sand Hills home where they have been for more than 50 years and where they raised five children.
Fifty years in the same home, that's some roots.

No way he gets a guaranteed 3 year deal with NE. But I think he will be back with NE next year. He has played on crappy teams and does not have a desire to finish that way I believe. And his rapport with Brady is far greater than it would be with another QB. Also Edelman’s status elevates his value to NE.

Who said anything about a guarantee?

Amendola wants to finish his career with Brady and Edelman.

The way everything has been set up the last few years I would be shocked if Dola would prefer a non-guaranteed 3 year contract over the usual 1 year deal with guarantees. He wants to actually play for the team and not just be a TC body.

If anything he will get another one year deal.
