I can't see how he could practice all of last week and not be ready to play in two weeks. They're probably just being careful with him.

I think they had 2 guys that were injured but could have played if they had to. They sat Dennard and let Talib try. This week I wouldn't be surprised if they sat Talib and let Dennard play.

I couldn't see the game yesterday, but from all reports Talib was hurting and could really benefit from some time off.

Was he practicing last week?

He was "limited." We have no idea how much or how little he was able to do. Talib "practiced" all week as well and could not play Sunday. It looks like nearly all of the "questionable" players will be able to suit up come playoff time, but, as we have seen with Mankins and Connolly the last few weeks, playing is not the same as playing effectively. Still, the big question mark is not Dennard but has to be Talib, who appears to have aggravated a possibly serious hip injury. I am trying to imagine why they played a guy who was in such obvious pain in warm-ups that the media started to question whether he could play. My guess is that they know his injury could not get any worse (e.g., tendon is torn off the bone) and the staff wanted to see what he could do with this injury. The answer was not encouraging.
