I've seen this come about at least 3 times now (Mortensen, Ordway, and Ed Harding) when analysts are talking about the Pats being docked draft choices. They keep saying "only a first-rounder and a second-rounder made the Pats this season."
Really? Since when is Kareem Brown a second-round pick? He's a fourth-round pick. The Pats did not elect to keep their 2nd and 3rd round picks.
It's minor, but something that keeps bugging me whenever I hear it.
