I expect a full integration back into the offense and significant relief in the passing and running game. He is sorely missed.

Even with 1 arm he'd be a significant upgrade. What did they ever see in Hooman?

I think he'll contribute right away, even if he plays limited snaps...I mean Amendola played limited snaps this week but still lead the team in catches/yards I believe last week.

At least Hoomanuwanui caught a few balls...Sudfeld had zero

Now Greg Salas last year, that was a joke....short lived of course

How will Gronk do in his first game back?

He'll do fantastic! Granted, it'll be after a great training camp at the first game in the 2014 season but he'll be great!

Nothing. I expect his dad to lock him in a cage and never let him play again.

Who knows, maybe a fluky/desperate throw/catch here and there might get us there? >_>

BTW, any status updates on Ridley''s availability next game?

Definitely just as concerned w/Ridley. Running Blount & Bolden alone against the Saints is concerning. We should respect Ridley more than 'the guy who fumbles'.

I honestly think if Ridley was healthy vs the Bengals we would have won.

It definitely would have helped, considering how little attention the Bengals were giving to playaction fakes.

I don't know guys. It's not just the injury that has me concerned, but we need to remember just how long Gronk's been away from the game.

Even last year, he was out for most of the season, then came back and got hurt again.

Long time. Hope he's been training and practicing hard and is in good shape. Even if he plays this Sunday I don't expect him back to full form for at least a couple more weeks.

Knocking on wood for things to go smooth this time and in a couple of months his injuries will be out of his and our minds.

I honestly expect him to be a decoy for the next four weeks at least.

We won't see 2011 Gronk until next year.

Under what basis do you think that? Is not like he's hobbled out there... Mist reports are that he looks great in practice running and catching the ball like old gronk..and he's been healthy for a few weeks now

I am really curious to see how well this offense operates with a healthy Gronk and Amendola. Too much to ask a bunch of rookies to shoulder the bulk of the passing game.

This reminds me of when we were saying we wanted to see them with a healthy Gronk and Hernandez.

I'm expecting him to replace Nate Solder as a primary receiver on goal line plays.

I want to see him CATCH the ball!!! Catch and hold on to the ball!! PLEEEEEEZ, somebody catch and hold onto the da-umm ball. PLEASE.

Gronk hasn't played a single game since the texans game last year, not even preseason. Amendola missed just 3 weeks and look how lost he was. My expectations for gronk this week are minimal - 30 yards receiving.

<Insert clubber Lang Video...Pain!>

Now what type of pain
  1. Could be fan pain because he's not there
  2. Could his own pain as he gets some reps
  3. Could be Saints defenders pain trying to cover him
  4. Could be Brady's pain because Gronk is rusty.

I'm going for option 2.
