What is your problem? First you are opposed to people who complain about the "should we look at xxx" threads, then you object to the"should we look at xxx" threads. You are now one of the people you whined at in the Sam Adams thread.

Regarding Thomas, this is actually a merged thread. Not one but two threads discussing him. He has great measurables. He's a run stuffer. He ain't gonna run no 40 yards in a football game. He's gonna occupy space and take on blockers, not run a post pattern.

But no, he didn't work out with the Saints, you say, and of course we would never ever take a player that the Saints had let go at one point in his career, would we?

Right.

So he is out of shape. So what? So is Robert Meachem. He says the draft process makes it hard to stay in shape, and even BB acknowledges that players focus on measurables which hurts football shape.

I say let him get into shape and sign him by start of tc.

Thomas was reportedly carried off the field by training staff and his locker has reportedly been cleaned out. Thomas was literally the ‘biggest’ undrafted free agent signee after the 2007 draft. Thomas’ college career consisted of two junior college games as flunked out of Oklahoma State before ever playing in a game, while trouble with the law cut short his stint at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Greg Boyd? don't remember the year, but I think it was pre-Parcells too. Guy was more interested in being a competitive body-builder. But he really was looking like a monster in pre-season.
